The following is an unpaid advertisement from my other cider pursuit.
Blackledge Winery is pleased to announce the release of two eighteenth-century style ciders: Eliza’s 28 and Fisher’s 58.
Both of these ciders are made according to eighteenth-century recipes (they called them receipts) using only the ingredients they listed. We have not added flavorings, sugars, or chemicals of any kind.
Like their eighteenth-century counterparts these ciders are all-natural, unfiltered, dry, still to lightly effervescent, tart, and meant to be enjoyed. It’s as close as you can get to a true eighteenth-century cider.
